Whitewood ESOP

John Thomas Furniture, a division of Whitewood Industries, has been a 100% employee-owned company since July of 2017. Whitewood Industries was founded in 1982 by Jorge Matta and Ron Feibel. They decided to move forward with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to ensure the company's legacy and long-term financial stability. This promotes an ownership culture where all Whitewood Employee Owners succeed together.

***

Whitewood's ESOP is designed to provide it's employee owners with additional income for retirement. This is no cost to participate. Employees must be at least 21 years of age, and complete one year of service with Whitewood Industries while working at least 1000 hours that year.
